DETROIT, May 7 -- The world's largest free Country Music
Concert is set to heat up Hart Plaza the weekend of May 9 - 11, 2008 in the
heart of Downtown Detroit with the help of title sponsor Chrysler Jeep
Superstores.

This year's Downtown Hoedown, the 26th anniversary of the event, brings
superstars Jewel, Josh Gracin, Little Big Town, Trisha Yearwood, Lonestar,
Gretchen Wilson and a jam-packed lineup of many other country favorites to
Downtown Detroit for three days of music, food and family fun.

The event marks the beginning of an entire season of summertime fun
events sponsored by Chrysler Jeep Superstores.

another great weekend in downtown Detroit as title sponsors for the 2008
Downtown Hoedown," Chrysler Jeep Superstores Advertising Association
President Jim Schebil said.

"It's great to support exciting and fun-filled family entertainment
events in the summer. We are already starting preparations as the title
sponsor for the 100th running of the unlimited hydroplane "Gold Cup" races
on the Detroit River July 11-13," added Schebil. "We're also sponsoring the
84th running of the Bayview to Mackinac boat race during that same time
frame, and we are the title sponsor of the Thunder Over Michigan airshow
August 9 & 10 to benefit the Yankee Air Museum."
